But, he would be more likely to fight off the cat. Now, if the dog had the intellectual abilities to be the smarter of the two, then he would have an advantage over the cat. But, he does not.So, if the cat were smarter than the dog, or the dog were more intelligent than the cat, and if the dog could learn from the cat how to fight better, then the dog would have the edge over the cat. But, in this case, the dog is less likely to fight the cat, and so does not even get to exercise his superior intelligence. He loses out on something that would have been good for him.What if the dog were to be smarter than the cat? Would the dog be able to make the right decisions? And would the dog be able to learn from the cat?Now, I am not saying that the dog will not win the fight, but neither will the cat. The cat wins only if he has more advantages than the dog, and the dog has the same advantages as the cat.
